There is something for everyone in Hua Hin. From street stalls selling noodle soup right through to international standard restaurants. All of the world's major cuisines are available.
If you love seafood then you have definitely come to the right place. Hua Hin is renowned for its fish and seafood which is exported all over the globe.
If you are looking for traditional Thai cuisine then a good place to start is the night market.
If you are looking for a more romantic setting then there can be no better place than strolling down Naresdamri Road and choosing one of the many excellent restaurants that are located on the piers.
For local flavor, many Thai and Chinese restaurants in Hua Hin open until late night. You can try delicious seafood in restaurants overlooking brightly lit fishing boats on the Gulf of Thailand. For Western food lovers, especially Italian cuisine, there are several restaurants and ice cream shops on Dammnernkasem Road, which is situated opposite Hua Hin’s post office.
Also be sure to sample the wide variety of fruits and kanoms (Thai sweets) available in restaurants, shops and stalls along the road.
Although Hun Hin is not famous for nightlife like Bangkok and Pattaya, there are some entertainment venues for night owls. When the sun goes down, you can go to hotel pubs, night club and local bars for extra fun, mostly congregating around soi 59.
